These Terms govern your use of IXMetrics. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The IXMetrics service
IXMetrics provides MLB schedule information, statistics, automated signals, team and player comparisons, community features, and baseball research tools. Features may change, be corrected, or be discontinued as the product develops.
2. Eligibility and younger users
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian should review any paid plan before purchase.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate registration information, protect your login credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not sell, transfer, or impersonate another person's account.
4. Baseball analytics disclaimer
IXMetrics provides informational baseball research and entertainment. Statistics, model scores, alerts, comparisons, and signals are not guaranteed outcomes, professional advice, predicted scores, or official MLB information. Data may be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or changed, including lineups and probable pitchers. Confirm important information independently.
IXMetrics is not a sportsbook or wagering service and is not designed to facilitate gambling. IX points, challenge tickets, badges, rankings, and similar in-product items have no cash value and cannot be purchased individually, transferred, exchanged, or withdrawn.
5. Community rules
When posting or interacting with others, you must not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, spam, publish private information, infringe intellectual property, or post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or dangerous content. Do not arrange payments or share passwords, verification codes, home addresses, or other sensitive details through community tools.
We may review reports and remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or preserve information when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. By posting it to IXMetrics, you give IXMetrics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to post your content. You may delete content where the product provides that option or contact support.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
No paid plan begins unless IXMetrics clearly displays the price and asks for confirmation. If paid plans become available, the checkout terms shown at purchase will explain the trial period, billing schedule, renewal, cancellation, taxes, and any refund rules. A subscription may renew until cancelled as disclosed at checkout. Cancel before the stated renewal time to avoid the next charge.
If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must approve and complete any purchase. Never use another person's payment method without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, bypass access limits, scrape at an unreasonable rate, introduce malicious code, probe security, reverse engineer protected systems, misuse automated access, or use IXMetrics in violation of law or another person's rights.
9. Intellectual property and third-party services
IXMetrics branding, design, software, and original content are protected by applicable law. Baseball names, logos, statistics, videos, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. IXMetrics is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Major League Baseball. Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms.
Historical data identified as the SABR Lahman Baseball Database, and IXMetrics adaptations expressly labeled CC BY-SA 3.0, are provided under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. The applicable license, attribution, original notices, and change notices accompany that material. These Terms, including subscription and acceptable-use provisions, do not impose additional restrictions on recipients exercising the rights granted by that license. This does not change the licensing of separate IXMetrics software, branding, or other separately identified materials.
10. Availability and warranties
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free data, specific results, or that every feature will remain available. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, IXMetrics is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using IXMetrics at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, legal requirements, or harm to users or the service. Provisions that logically continue after termination will remain in effect.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms as IXMetrics develops. Material changes may be communicated through the service, and the effective date will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
