This Privacy Policy explains how IXMetrics collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit ixmetrics.com, create an account, or use its baseball research and community features.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you register, we collect your email address and authentication information needed to create and secure your account. Password authentication is handled by Supabase; IXMetrics does not display your password.
Profile and community information
You may provide a display name, profile image, favorite teams or players, preferences, posts, comments, follows, challenge activity, and prediction history. Information you choose to publish on a public profile or in community areas may be visible to other users.
Usage and device information
We and our hosting providers may process technical information such as requested pages, approximate request time, browser or device type, IP address, error logs, and security events. With your consent, Google Analytics also helps us understand page visits, general traffic sources, device information, and how visitors use IXMetrics. We do not send account emails or passwords to Google Analytics.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message.
2. How we use information

3. Service providers
IXMetrics uses service providers to operate the site. These currently include Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and realtime features; Netlify for hosting and request processing; Google Analytics for consent-based site usage measurement; MLB data services for baseball information; and YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds for video highlights. 4. Cookies, analytics, and browser storage
IXMetrics uses essential session technologies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the service, and preserve interface state. Google Analytics is non-essential and remains disabled unless you choose “Accept analytics” in the privacy banner. Advertising storage and ad-personalization signals are disabled. You can reject analytics or change your choice at any time using the “Privacy choices” button at the bottom of the site.
5. Public information
Public profile details and community contributions can be seen, copied, or shared by others. Do not post private contact information, passwords, verification codes, financial information, or anything you do not want made public.
6. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention may vary by record type. You may request account deletion using the contact details below.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of certain personal information. You may also update available profile settings, remove your public content where the product allows, or request account deletion. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Children and younger users
IXMetrics is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users who have not reached the age required to consent to online services where they live should use IXMetrics only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private, use a unique password, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. International processing
IXMetrics and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate protections are used for international transfers.

We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may be communicated through the service.
